（2）黄金市场买卖参与者

国际金商：最典型的就是伦敦黄金市场上的五大金行，其自身就是一个黄金交易商，由于其与世界上各大金矿和黄金商有广泛的联系，而且其下属的各个公司又与许多商店和黄金顾客联系，因此，五大金商会根据自身掌握的情况，不断报出黄金的买价和卖价。当然，金商要负责金价波动的风险。

银行：又可以分为两类，一种是仅仅为客户代行买卖和结算，本身并不参加黄金买卖，以苏黎世的三大银行为代表，他们充当生产者和投资者之间的经纪人，在市场上起到中介作用。也有一些做自营业务的，如在新加坡黄金交易所(UOB)里，就有多家自营商会员是银行的。

对冲基金：近年来，国际对冲基金尤其是美国的对冲基金活跃在国际金融市场的各个角落。在黄金市场上，几乎每次大的下跌都与基金公司借入短期黄金在即期黄金市场抛售和在纽约商品交易所及黄金期货交易所构筑大量的淡仓有关。一些规模庞大的对冲基金利用与各国政治、工商和金融界千丝万缕的联系往往较先捕捉到经济基本面的变化，利用管理的庞大资金进行买空和卖空从而加速黄金市场价格的变化而从中渔利。

经纪公司(Brokerage Firm)：是专门从事代理非交易所会员进行黄金交易，并收取佣金的经纪组织。有的交易所把经纪公司称为经纪行(Commission House)。在纽约、芝加哥、香港等黄金市场里，有很多经纪公司，他们本身并不拥有黄金，只是派出场内代表在交易厅里为客户代理黄金买卖，收取客户的佣金。

（3）有关的监督管理机构
